Project Manager

Lead the delivery of project work. The ability to consult on Project Management, including to plan, organize, monitor, and control Systems projects for the completion of procedural, infrastructure, and/or software development to meet customer defined requirements or business specifications. This also includes: To manage cross-functional teams who are responsible for delivering the approved projects on time, within budget, and with world-class quality results. To lead cross-functional teams that may consist of both Systems and non-Systems professionals and work with the project sponsor to deliver solutions on time and within budget using approved tools, techniques, and methodologies. To understand and apply the Project Management Book of Knowledge - PMBOK® as expressed by the Project Management Institute (PMI)® The Manager role consists of skill sets and may be responsible for some or all of the following: 1. Provide leadership to assigned employees including motivation, delegation, team building, conflict management, and coaching. 2. Serve as communication link from organization to area of responsibility. 3. Build and maintain strong relationships with business and Systems partners. 4. Communicate and market services to business partners and the rest of the organization. 5. Establish and maintain a working environment that ensures all work performed aligns with company and department goals. 6. Encourage employee development through emphasis of continuous learning. 7. Complete special initiatives as assigned. 8. Responsible for maintaining an appropriate understanding of business and technology. 9. Understand and can navigate the organization by knowing who, how, and when to contact specific stakeholders on certain issues.
