Production Support Resource(Environment Manager)

 

Location:   Piscataway, NJ or New Haven, CT (Consultant can work from either location)

Duration:   6 Months

 

Required Skills:

Client is requesting a production support resource to perform application environment support, production operations support and application testing. The resource will be expected to respond to application generated and user generated alarms, temporarily resolve issues to maintain a high level of application uptime and work with other support and development personnel to resolve issue with long term solutions. Application consists of Apache Server and Apache Tomcat on SUN Solaris platform and Citrix.

 

Desired Skills:

•          UNIX command line and scripting (e.g. Bash, Ksh, Perl)

•          Oracle database and SQL

•          Apache Server and Apache Tomcat administration experience (e.g. managing configuration, restarting servers, log formats, etc.)

•          Real-time application troubleshooting experience

•          Citrix

•          Pilat IBMS

Need a resource available that does Environmental hardware and software support. Skill sets are: SUN Platform, Apache, UNIX, Citrix
